(2) For Shipment to Military Activities. In addition to any special markings required by the contract or order, marking shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-129. Bar Code marking is required, unless otherwise specified (See Section 6).

Ordering Data. Purchasers should select the preferred options permitted herein, and include the following information in procurement documents:
(1) Title, number, and date of this commercial item description.
(2) Desired dimensions.
(3) Arrangement for inspections and inspection facilities, if different than provisions under Quality Assurance.
(4) Special packaging, and packing, if different than provisions in Packaging and Packing.
(5) Special marking, if different than provisions in Marking.
(6) Specify, only if Bar Code marking is not required.
